This incredible limestone shaft leads to a vast underground chamber hidden deep within the Salma Plateau. Travel Itinerary
06:00 AM - Pick-up from Your Location in Muscat
Depart Muscat in private 4x4 vehicles for a 2.5-hour drive to the Salma Plateau.
08:30 AM - Arrival & Preparation
After reaching the 7th Hole area, participants receive gear and safety briefing from certified guides. Equipment includes helmets, harnesses, descenders, ascenders, and gloves.
09:30 AM - Descent into 7th Hole
Start with a 30m descent followed by a 40m vertical drop using ropes and professional equipment. Experience the thrill of entering one of Oman’s deepest cave systems.
10:30 AM - Cave Exploration
Walk inside the vast underground hall, admire natural rock formations, and experience complete darkness and silence (optional lights-off moment)
12:00 PM - Climb Out (SRT)
Use the single rope technique (SRT) to ascend back out of the cave: 15m followed by 30m climbs under guide supervision.
01:30 PM - Snack Break & Rest
Enjoy light snacks, hydrate, and take in the incredible views before heading back.
02:00 PM - Departure for Muscat
Start the return drive to Muscat.
05:00 PM - Drop-off in Muscat
Arrive back in Muscat, ending an unforgettable vertical adventure.
