WADI SHAB – ROMANTIC CAVE – WHITE SANDS BEACH – BIMMAH SINKHOLE

Depart Muscat and drive to Wadi Shab after arrival at Wadi Shab, follow your Omani guide to Pick one of the traditional wooden boats. This boat ride drops you at the starting point of the Wadi Shab. First, start your adventure in Wadi Shab with a long walk through the green grass, surrounded by Palm, then, you can reach a series of streams and pools through old rock paths. After wading and swimming in the river through some beautiful ponds, your extreme adventure begins. After an hour’s trek through the canyon, you will see a clear water pool. The water is crystal clear; it is amazing to swim through. Moving forward we end up at the last pool where we get to make our way through the canyon’s cave. Fitting through crevices and openings we are blessed with a small waterfall that breaks into a cool blue color. It is paradise. After some exploring and a rest, the huge canyon gorge that is paradise. Filled with palm trees and other greenery, the mountain truly has character then you can have lunch at one of the best local restaurants in the area and then afterward drive to Romantic Cave or Lover’s Cave because of the odd heart shape that mouth of the cave forms facing the ocean then make a short stop at the Fins Beach, a long white-sand beach photo stop then to Bimmah sinkhole where most like to take photos or swim in the lake and then arrive at we head back to Muscat.The terrain varies, featuring rocky sections (some can be slippery), shallow pools of water, and narrow paths. It’s essential to keep your footing in mind as you navigate these areas.
